For the first time in Bangladesh, MT Helmets are now available with Double Warranty and Accident Insurance Coverage, powered by Bimafy.
Raida Trade International, the official distributor of MT Helmets in Bangladesh has introduced 2 new exciting features for its customers, in collaboration with Bimafy, the first and most trusted insurtech platform in the country.
The new features were officially introduced on August 27th, 2021 at a formal ceremony held by Raida Trade International where representatives of the companies were present along with all other business partners including the dealers and retailers of MT Helmets.
This offer shall be valid from April 1, 2022, till further notice from Raida Trade International. Any official MT Helmet bought after this date shall qualify for the Double Warranty and Accident Insurance coverage; customers must activate the warranty of the helmet in order to avail of the Double Warranty and Accident Insurance Coverage.
What is the Double Warranty offer?
All official MT Helmets now come with a 1-year warranty that provides 2 types of warranty coverage as per the following:
- Manufacturer’s Warranty (Standard warranty against manufacturing default with specific exclusions and terms)
- Crash Replacement Service (Extended warranty coverage against accidental damages for a single time within the warranty period)
What is the Accident Insurance offer?
MT Helmets do not just protect your head while riding, it also provides more if you are injured in a motorcycle accident as all MT Helmets now come with complementary accident insurance coverage, powered by Bimafy. The accident insurance coverage shall be valid for one year from the date of helmet purchase and you can get financial benefits if you are injured and took medical treatment.
Accident Insurance Coverage amounts are variable based on the helmet model, starting from BDT. 35,000 to BDT. 120,000. Have a look at the table below regarding model-wise insurance coverage:
